The Youth Mental Health Research Fellowship Programme has officially launched under the Being Research Excellence Hub on Emerging Stressors for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing. The programme aims to strengthen research capacity and support emerging researchers working in youth mental health across low- and middle-income countries. The fellowship combines structured training, mentorship and hands-on research experience to support the development of impactful research projects.

Applications are now open for the Youth Mental Health Research Fellowship Programme. Fellowship Research Themes and Priorities Announced

The programme faculty has outlined the priority research themes for the inaugural fellowship cohort, spanning adolescent depression in sub-Saharan Africa, youth anxiety and climate stress in Southeast Asia, and help-seeking behaviour among young men in Latin America. Fellows will pursue original projects within these thematic areas.
